This was a design for a restaurant menu. I chose a Japanese restaurant because i thought the design could be interesting. I used the image of The Great Wave off Kanagawa, a classic image that has been used for years. I wanted the colours to be fairly earthy, to give an old world feel. I also used illustrations of fish on the inside of the menu which i think worked quite well. The type was very simple, and the red colour was used to seperate the headings. The front of the menu has bamboo and bird illustrations to further create an interesting feel.
